End of May
May was a busy month for us, bringing two sets of houseguests. Now we're on our own again and getting back into our normal routine.
Over the weekend, Ben seemed ambivalent about having another 3-year-old in the house. Sometimes the two of them ran around shrieking with glee; other times, they argued ad nauseum over such crucial matters as who got the blue plate. Yesterday it was fun to watch them wear themselves out in the wading pool and then pause for a moment on the swing.

It's strange to think that the kids are now getting old enough to lay down memories. What will they remember of this weekend? Playing in the pool? Eating S'mores sundaes? Hiking in the woods? Arguing over a blue plate?

woo! we made it home! 12:45am or so. Kentucky, West Virginia and western Maryland are amazingly beautiful. I've been through parts of all three before, but I didn't remember how good they look, even from the car.
Anyway...thanks again for having us. We had a great time and miss all three of you already. If your parents can handle it, we'd love to see you in State College this summer!
I haven't been by your blog in a while (switched computers and lost my favorites!). What a cute wading pool and pictures of your son.
