Four More Haiku
I've been keeping up with my haiku a day. It's interesting to try to write in the same form daily. It's also strange because when you've committed to doing something every day, you can't be overly concerned about quality; some won't be that good, but you write them anyway.

Green pines, gray mist.
Along the muddy path, rain
puckers puddles.
1/6/07
“The clouds are moving,”
says my son. Wide blue eyes
reflect windy sky.
1/7/07
Moon, sunrise, mountains,
fog, birds, trees, stream: too much world
for one haiku.
1/8/07
Early morning: bright
moon, set in starry sky, throws
winter shadows.
