Sights of the Season: Nativity Set

While on vacation, I'll be posting daily pictures of holiday sights from our house and beyond.

This was a gift from Aunt Cindy, and Ben has enjoyed playing with it. It has certainly led to some interesting discussions. One question from Ben that stumped me: "Where are Jesus's grandparents?" (I wonder: Are his grandparents on his father's side simply God? Is there an orthodox answer to where Jesus's genetic material came from?) Another amusing statement from Ben: "Jesus is a baby. He cries and cries. He poops in his diaper." And then one Sunday before we entered the church sanctuary, Ben asked, "Is Jesus in here?"
