Madeleine L'Engle

Rest in peace, Madeleine L'Engle. I have fond memories of reading her books as a child.... As someone who grew up without much religious instruction, I found insight in the way her characters grappled with God and truth and responsibility. Thanks to her, I learned the word "tesseract," and I was introduced to the wonderful poems of HenryVaughn (including "The Night" and "The World"). She will be much missed.
